You’ve Been Accused of Stop Watch Fraud!

By Athletes' Acceleration | January 6th, 2009

One of two things is happening…

We live in a computer simulation, like in the movie
The Matrix, where kids have figured out how to bend the
laws of physics.

Or…

Stop watch fraud has become out of control.

Are you or the people around you guilty of this terrible
crime?

Watch this video to find out:

How to Make Your Athletes Faster

To your success,

    Aloha Latif,

Great points! I agree with you whole heartedly. While living on the “mainland” I had the opportunity to be involved with several pro tryouts/combines (big field and afl/af2). What a pain in the ass timing these kids who have been “lied to” by their coaches, friends, girlfriends, who ever was timing them. Slows the process down considerably when you have to explain to a young man that he in fact, does not run a 4.4! Proof is in the pudding when he is lined up against the legit 4.4 though. But then another topic for discussion. How much correlation is there in 40 times to football ability? Oh, well as long as dinosaurs still rule the tryout formats….

    Hi Latif,
Just want to tell you how much I enjoy your videocasts. You definately don’t hold back, and I appreciate your candor. I am always learning something. Like the UMass t-shirt too.

Best wishes for a successful 2009 season.

    Sincerely,

    Latif,
LOVE the program!! I implemented it with my middle school girls track team last season with tremendous results. I had previously coached at the HS level without CST and was successful simply because of previous academic training and knowledge of energy systems. CST brought it all together with great exercise inventories and demonstrations. STOP WATCH FRAUD…..UGH! it happen and our school records are proof. When my daughter began getting close to her school records, I investigated and the hand times had not been corrected AND were so ridiculous that they became suspect. Anyway, at MS track meets, coaches that hand time are too anxious to “round down” BUT not at our meets…we proctor coach timers and use the method you discuss here. Cant wait till Spring season to begin here in WV!!
Here’s to a successful 2009 season of creating faster kids with more confidence!!
