Hi Latif...i know that is wrong topic but i didnt know where to write my question.i have already buy Compl.Speed Training and Programe Designe for Spint.and am very satisfied
i want to know if posible your opinion about a meet warmup for 100m sprinter.

>>> A meet warmup for a 100m runner is really no different than a warmup for any other sprinter. You must be warmed up for a full intensity effort. So progress in intensity from low to high. I like to get a hard, long, near full effort sprint in roughly 20-25 minutes before I race. So, if I was running the 100, I'd set my warmup up so that I was prepared to do a run of 40-60m at roughly 90% as the peak of my warmup. Then I would keep the activity light, get off my feet and be ready to roll.

Excellent post Latif!

One of my coaching friends likes to say 'the more I learn, the more I realise I don't know'. This is a statement that I entirely agree with.

Regards,
